Hi, I am Minty! I am a licensed therapist in the state of NY, NJ and CA. I am passionate about working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, using a culturally sensitive approach – we learn from each other. My experience spans hospital psychiatric departments, community outpatient clinics and public schools. I specialize in working with young adults navigating relationship challenges, dual-cultural experiences, life transitions, and self-discovery. I also have a strong background in helping school-age children overcome anxiety, build self-esteem, and cope with parental separation or bereavement.

My training includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Child and Family Therapy, Relational Psychodynamic Therapy and Sandplay Therapy. I encourage mindfulness observation and symbolic expression. I will help you develop a “reflective mind”, gaining increased awareness of your life and self. Together, we observe, reflect and experience.

I am dedicated to providing a nonjudgmental and grounded space—a sanctuary where you can safely explore challenging emotions and freely express your authentic self. Do you Accept Insurance?

Spring Health For NY/NJ/CA Clients

Please contact your HR/Benefits department at your sponsoring company to confirm your eligibility.

Kaiser Permanente for CA Clients

Minty is currently in-network with Kaiser. Before scheduling psychotherapy or assessment/evaluation services with us, all clients need a verified external referral from Kaiser after their screening. Please contact your Kaiser clinic for processing. If you do not have the referral, Kaiser will not reimburse your fees. If you have an older referral, we advise you to call the clinic to confirm it is still valid.

Minty is currently an out-of-network provider for all other insurance companies. If you use our services, you will be expected to pay the full fee yourself. We offer you Superbill receipts for the service you receive from us, and you can submit them to your insurance for possible reimbursement. Most insurance companies may cover part of the fee (50-80% typically) for out-of-network providers like us.
