Hello! My name is Elisha (she/they) and I am a Licenced Professional Clinical Counselor and registered dance/movement therapist in California. I believe seeking support through therapy is a valuable tool that can lead us to a place of deepened self-understanding, greater self-compassion, connection, and peace. I have experience working with adolescents, young adults, and adults who are navigating a range of mental health concerns including anxiety, grief and loss, relational challenges, life transitions, eating disorders, Autism Spectrum, ADHD, and other neurodivergence or disabilities.

My style is rooted in a somatic, person-centered, and integrative approach. I enjoy collaborating with my clients on their goals and value cultivating a safe space for them to feel seen, heard, and validated. I feel a deep responsibility to provide culturally informed care and do my best to become educated on my client’s diverse backgrounds and intersecting identities. In my sessions, I pull from a number of evidence-based modalities, including acceptance and commitment therapy, expressive arts therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamics, and motivational interviewing, drawing from my background as both a licensed counselor and expressive arts and movement therapist. 

Our work together will incorporate learning how survival-based responses shape your experiences and relationships and how to unravel these patterns to foster new, authentic, and compassionate ways of being. I believe healing happens through connection and I strive to create a space that feels grounded, engaged, accepting, and sometimes even humorous. I am looking forward to working with you and witnessing your journey.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes!

Elisha accepts some major insurances in CA, such as Aetna, Cigna, Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Carelon Behavioral Health, Quest Behavioral Health, etc.

Kaiser Permanente

Before scheduling psychotherapy or assessment/evaluation services with us, all clients need a verified external referral from Kaiser after their screening. Please contact your Kaiser clinic for processing. If you do not have the referral, Kaiser will not reimburse your fees. If you have an older referral, we advise you to call the clinic to confirm it is still valid.

Other Insurance/Self Pay

We are out-of-network providers for all other insurance companies. If you use our services, you will be expected to pay the full fee yourself. We offer you Superbill receipts for the service you receive from us, and you can submit them to your insurance for possible reimbursement. Most insurance companies may cover part of the fee (50-80% typically) for out-of-network providers like us.
