10 Sleep Products Help you Sleep Better! (In Progress)

In my clinic, my patients with insomnia often ask me to recommend sleep products to them to facilitate the treatment.

I want to emphasize that we don’t want to rely on products to help us sleep better, we need to work on how to sleep with our own bodies and biological drive.

However, sometimes, some sleep products may be helpful to reduce sleep anxiety a little bit.

I list some products and tools on this page because I use them myself, or I have interviewed the founders of them and like what they do for the sleep field. I’ve done the research and trial and error so you don’t have to! That being said, I encourage you to consider only the products that fit your needs based on your own sleep needs.

It is a machine you wear for 30-60 minutes each day. I did not try it personally, but I interviewed the founder of this product, Dr. Cohen. He has been behind several great sleep products in the past. His team offered all my listeners a $100 off coupon: YISHANSLEEP, and the purchase link is here.

Sound Machine for Baby’s Sleep

Dr. Yishan interviewed a neuroscientist Dr. Benasich. She and her team invented this sound machine to help improve baby’s sleep quality and brain development. She explains that sleep is not just a period of rest for the body, but a highly active time for brain development, involving the formation and strengthening of various neural networks. Instead of relying solely on white noise, Dr. Benasich suggests using a variety of soundtracks to create an optimal auditory environment for babies. Dr. Benasich explains that providing diverse auditory stimuli can enhance a baby's acoustic processing and facilitate better neural network formation. This variety of sounds helps babies build acoustic maps, which are essential for language development and differentiation of sounds. You can read more of her suggestions to parents in this blog article: How Can White Noise Impact Baby Brain Development?
